About

I’m Ben, a multi-disciplinary creative with a passion for inspiring the next generation of performers and content creators.

I began my career working in press, digital media and communication – with acting as my side hussle. In 2024, I decided to pursue acting and directing full-time, graduating from the Royal Central School of Speech and Drama with an MA (distinction) in Actor Training and Coaching.

My teaching practice is rooted in physical performance and technology, and I have acted and directed at a range of London and Brighton venues.

I’ve guided emerging talent in disciplines like physical theatre, Clown and motion capture at world-leading institutions such as LAMDA, Trinity Laban, Bristol Old Vic Theatre School and Italia Conti. I’m dedicated to helping young people (and improvers) find their voice and build a sustainable artistic practice. I am also the founder of Brighton Clown School, a physical comedy and theatre training company.

While my teaching keeps me busy during term-time, I continue to take on theatre, photography, videography and writing projects, using my experience as digital content manager at the French Embassy, and years as a magazine journalist, to support creative output.

Want to collaborate?

I’m available for freelance work as an assistant director, director, acting coach, visiting lecturer, videographer and photographer.
